OurCity2030 Pathway into Creative & Tech: second cohort announced

Lack of workforce diversity and a long-term skills shortage are the biggest challenges facing the creative industries, according to The Creative Force study (2002) by Bristol Creative Industries and The Audience Agency. The OurCity2030 Pathway into Creative & Tech, in partnership with the Bristol Creative Industries (BCI) Internship Programme, has been designed specifically to tackle these issues.

Following a successfully pilot in 2023, the programme is designed to give young people aged 18-30 from underrepresented backgrounds real insight and experience in the creative industries.

And we are delighted to reveal the 8 young people who make up the second cohort, which runs from June 2024 until December 2024.

The creative agencies participating in the programme are:

  • Ambitious PR

  • Armadillo

  • Fox Collective Communications

  • McCann Bristol

  • Plaster Creative Communications

  • Proctor + Stevenson

  • Taxi Studio

  • The Collaborators

The interns taking part in the programme are:

  • Elma Hossain (placement at Fox Collective for six months)
